In
Memory of Lynn Grant: Long time resident,
teacher, community volunteer and leader, Lynn passed away Saturday,
May 29 over Memorial Day weekend. We miss her friendship and wise
council greatly. Lynn was among the founders of the Desert Hills
Improvement Association (DHIA); which began in 1985 and merged with
the New River Community Association in 1999 to become the New
River-Desert Hills Community Association (NR-DHCA). She served as
secretary from 1999 to 2004 and throughout her long affiliation, she
remained an active member. We will all remember Lynn and the
contributions that she made to NRDHCA. She always had a friendly
smile and was ready to offer an encouraging word. Please feel free
to send your condolences and share your stories and memories of Lynn
with her husband Ed Grant via
